The first academic year is uniform for all the different majors, as the joint professional program is designed to provide students with basic knowledge from each of the various media fields. Beginning in the third semester, students choose specific majors by selecting elective subjects. Thus, for the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth semesters, each student will enroll in six subjects, of which two are elective.

During the following two years of professional studies, students will complete vocational training according to modules within their chosen major. The program is conducted in small groups and favors practical over theoretical coursework. The planned ratio of vocational and theoretical coursework is 70:30, respectively.

In the course of the program, the TV Academy plans to collaborate with American University (Washington, DC) in the United States, enabling the direct transfer of technological and professional knowledge via its teaching staff to our environment. On its own, this program will enable dual diplomas in Croatia and the United States.

Should good quality collaboration with American University come to fruition, the TV Academy shall seek further collaboration with the School of Arts, Design, Media & Culture in Great Britain, which similarly would enable dual diplomas in Croatia and the UK. Listed below are the programs and modules-majors.
